The World Loves A Sad Country Song
57Connie Smith, Once A Day
This video shows Connie when she was 23 from the movie Second Fiddle to a Steel Guitar.
This song was written by Bill Anderson, and was #1 in 1964 for eight weeks, the longest for any female country music singer to this date.
The Hurtin's All Over
This particular video features The Grand Ole Opry's longest playing staff steel guitar player, Weldon Myrick.
The man who walks in at the end of the video to introduce the band was Jerry Byrd (R.I.P.). Story has it he was a steel guitar player, also.
Bobby Bare - Detroit City
This one is from the Johnny Cash Show...
Most people know this song as, "I wanna go Home".
Waylon Jennings - Rainy Day Woman, Just to Satisfy You
A awesome combo... Waylon singing and Ralph Mooney on the steel guitar.
P.s. Ralph just died last March, one of the best is gone.

Well hi and thank you for over-viewing my E-Mail for
inquiry on the Country Hon.
COUNTRY HON:
I rode into to Calmar last day 'till morning.
My how I need a new babe called Judi-Luean.
Why do you give me a round of sugar?
Tell me no to all Boy-Cows poor at their trade;
So give me a quart of cow juice to kool the day's toil ol' girl queen in tight thorn jean, heat!
REPRISE (2x).
I adore The Country White, Red, & Blue.
The reason I write Song while 'off the cuff;'
when Alberta started The Grande Olde Oprey;
The Civil War entered The U.S..
Singing, was remedy fort to isolate the wounded
needing a great lark or true Story of Western, Southern or North-Eastern feeling.
Now it came to Pass in El, Texas,
The First National Star of U.S.,
truly founded by Edmonton by
Calvary Support called the
Royal Red and White Patrol,
Officially Chronicled in,
the archives here.
I thank all Country Sing,
so HI YA ALL.!!!
Sincerely,
Alex (ander) Simom
