Have You Seen Mifi, the New Pocket Size Wifi on the Go?

Always on Wifi - the Mifi
Probably the most exciting device I've seen in several months - the MiFi. It's a small credit card size device that fits into your shirt pocket. The story... while watching Pogue's list on cable TV they introduced this device. From what I read the Mifi isn't new...
The Japanese have had this technology for at least a year. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Advantages
Small and portable... no need to connect to your wireless device. Operates on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Supports the latest security and firewall. Battery holds charge up to 4 hours... longer in standby.
The only time you need to connect to your laptop... setup and activate VZAccess Manager (Verizon Access) or to recharge battery.

Exciting? Could be. Mobile hotspot anywhere... Share with five wi-fi mobile devices... no need for a 3G USB modem.
Now I found the video... to the right is the Verizon Wireless MiFi CNBC story by David Pogue. Interesting video.
Note: Sprint Mobile Hotspot uses the Novatel 2200... it's gray in color

P.S. These devices are running about $100 plus signup on Verizon contract... $279 without contract. Number of years on contract... don't know.
